Are we supposed to believe that he's fully committed to UC if he comes back?

Winning basketball is boring? Playing defense is boring?

to read anything into that is ridiculous.
He Is blowing smoke. Your are right Madman81. The kids at UNLV want Stacey Augmon. This has nothing to do with Mick. I do agree with his assertion that running a up tempo offense would be a better selling point to the kids then a grind it out slow down style. All that said recruiting to this conference in these facilities Mick lands his share of good players. He isn't getting one and doners but good kids with some upside. With SK making the league and a couple on this team with the potential we can start getting some benefit from that hopefully.

No matter what happens it will be explained away. "I never really considered the other option because I am committed to UC basketball" "Did I listen to what they had to say? Sure. But it didn't go any further than that"

I can see it coming if he stays here

And he totally won't do it again.

L-T is on record many times telling you and everyone else that this is all a big joke. He ain't going anywhere. We've been told for years of all the P5 schools that would sweep in and sign him if he were available....and now he is acting like he's going to the Mountain West. If he signs there, I will have a very good time on this forum with some individuals. But, he isn't going anywhere. Tarzan will come swinging back here on his vine with his famous jungle yell and give us his sad story and tell us how much he loves us and really never wanted to leave. There will be a tear rolling down our cheeks. The problem is, my tear will be red, because blood has been the only thing escaping from my eyeballs watching his offense for 10 years.

Like a few have stated already, either outcome we need to unite as a fanbase behind the program and support them. This does not mean we all have to love the coach or stop being critical, but we have to stop bashing people at every turn because of personal views.

Who cares. I don't expect him or anyone who is employed to not continually try to better themselves. Commitment works both ways. If he can't get the things needed or is being misled on when and how they are provided how committed are they to him. Don't they have the right to terminate their agreement with him? Its a business jake.
