Scratch that. They won.
I think they move out to in with that win. And they tied for 1st place now |

I’d play anyone in March. We’ve had very little success for almost 25 straight years. It can’t get any worse. Bring on whoever

Lundardi still has them out. Probably has something to do with their sub-75 computer rankings and 18-11 record against the #67 SOS and #217 NC SOS. They'll lose at least 2 more before the tournament too. It's an uphill battle for them that's only been made interesting due to an unprecedented run. But I see no way it continues.

Dave Ommen has UCLA as the last team in. UC is an automatic qualifier in his bracket, so we're not included in his bubble team lists. We're ranked just below UCLA on the seed list though.

Don’t under estimate the value of good press and a solid eye test leading up to the tourney. Keep in mind, I think 4 games ago, I posted that they have a chance to make the tourney if they finished strong. Most thought it was an insane idea, even myself, and kenpom had them losing 6 straight to finish the year. But now they’ve won 4 of those last 6 games with 2 more remaining and 1 being a home. In my opinion, after watching a lot of Pac-12 teams falter in the latter part of the season, I think UCLA is the 2nd best team in the 4th best conference. They swept Colorado, they could sweet Arizona On Saturday. And they could even the score with USC. They pass the eye test. |

the idea they'd win out was insane. the 2 toughest battles still remain. would have thought Colorado would have been the 2nd toughest game, but they just got blown out by California. The team is doing it with offense. The lowest ORTG they've had in this win streak is 109.1. defense has been hit and miss. nobody can stay in front of Campbell. |

They ran Arizona out of the gym and held them to their lowest shooting percentage ever in that arena. That was a defensive win. But they are playing good enough to win defense because their offense is really playing well. They don’t need to grind it out. Campbell is a 4 year player who I think may end being micks best PG. I think they are national contender with this very roster next year. But then add 5 star Nix and another 4 star, it really is primed to be a good year for UCLA. I think they beat Arizona at home on senior day in what will a great environment. They are finally creating a home court at Pauley. We need to just win and hope the bubble doesn’t shrink. |

Sure I left out SOS But what I find interesting is that UC played a tough schedule and yet, of all those resumes listed there, UC has played more tier 3 & 4 games then anyone else. We’ve played or will play in 15 tier 3 & 4 games. That has to matter. |
